The accommodation comprises heavy oak front door leading to a large dining hall. The quarry tiled dining area features a large fireplace with fully functioning multi fuel stove. Being part of the original cottage, the dining hall has exposed yellow stonework which has been carefully preserved and is a key feature throughout this property.

The kitchen, which is accessed form the dining hall, is finished with quarry tile flooring, high quality modern style units, solid beech work surfaces and has plumbing for all of the necessary appliances. There is also a stable door accessing the rear garden. Adjoining the kitchen is a separate guest WC, with a large handwash basin. The gas combi boiler is housed in this area and has a programmable timer to control the thermostatically controlled radiators throughout the cottage.

From the kitchen there is access to the large lounge, which has a feature brick fireplace and french doors opening onto the south facing garden, which has stunning views of the valley below.

The original staircase leads from the dining hall to the first floor, where there are three double bedrooms (one en-suite) and a family bathroom.

The large master bedroom is in the modern part of the house and has dual aspect windows overlooking the open countryside and an ensuite with velux window, extractor fan, toilet, corner sink and corner shower cubicle with a powerful mixer shower.

The second bedroom is also a large double and again features the carefully preserved yellow stonework of the original cottage. This bedroom has superb views of the countryside below.

The third bedroom is a smaller double and benefits from two velux windows and a further window overlooking the garden.

The bathroom comprises of a bath with mixer shower over, extractor fan and has a large vanity sink/toilet unit. There is also a large heated towel rail.

To the front of the property there is a large gravel driveway with small fore garden. The drive provides parking for two vehicles and access to the double garage which is fully equipped with mains power and water and has in the past been used as a large office.

From the drive and fore garden there is a set of stone steps that lead to the front door of the house. Adjacent to the steps is the original well that supplied all of the water for the village. There is an attractive water feature pumping from the well. The pond is protected on all sides by ornate black railings. There is also a side gate providing easy access to the property from the lane without the use of the steps.

The large garden is laid to lawn and is easy to maintain.
